impromptu booking is becoming a trend and i’m loving it! henry and his beautiful bride karen booked us less than a week before their wedding day. as if the the short notice wasn’t enough, the groom chose a very challenging dance-pop/pop rock song for their onsite video. for a brief moment, i almost lost control during editing. another day in the office my friends and i totally dig the adrenaline rush!

i will be out of the country starting tomorrow, march 22 and i will be back on march 26. i will try my best to answer all emails but there is a possibility that i may not be able to receive text messages. you may still call and visit our office and look for joan, our office manager. thanks…but i am not gonna leave without a new video!

bert and jm, thank you for the wonderful t-shirts from malaysia. now, i will never get lost in the dark again. =) i also fully understand that you wouldn’t want to spend your honeymoon in malaysia especially when you’re based in malaysia. also, it was during your wedding when jayson arquiza introduced me to the very addictive “plants vs. zombies” game. you guys are awesome!

we were on our second wedding of year 2010 and my wife and i were discussing that wendy’s gown is our gown of the year. three months later, her dress is still the best. =)

the wedding expo has come and gone and i would like to thank everyone who visited, stopped by, watched videos, booked us and shared stories at our booth last weekend. as always, the expo turned out better than we expected. =)

our 2010 calendar is still open but the available slots are few…and since march, is a huge month for phoeben teocson videography, i’m feeling generous. =)

two years has come and gone. two weddings at work top ten awards, the videofest, the international weddings. i’ve been to places i only dream about (for free). i’ve seen stuff i can only imagine, and i have assembled a young team of shooters and editors with the highest standards. i couldn’t be more blessed and yet i still feel like i’m new and i’ve got a lot more to learn…and man, i’ve never been busier in my entire life, and i’m loving every moment of it. =)

because we turned two and my wife turned twenty eight, for all bookings this month of march we’ll be extending the following freebies:

it happens all the time, expect the unexpected. my bad, actually. i remember allan and monica specifically told me that she wanted an mtv style onsite video. no vows, no speeches, no sermons. the problem is that i didn’t write it down then and of course that was more than six months ago. imagine the couple’s surprise come their wedding day when the first part of the video with father jessel gonzales telling their love story started playing…a beautiful story, may i add…totally, supposedly not part of the plan.

i thought i saw a couple of people teary-eyed after it was played so i’m thinking the video did well. check it out! =)

don bosco batulao has always been close to my heart. being a bosconian myself and having our fourth year spiritual retreat in the place brought back nostalgic flashbacks. it’s almost that long ago since i last covered an event at the chapel on the hill.

lem’s blink 182 sde song reminded me of myself a year ago. man i missed that, that hard hitting, jaw dropping, fast paced and crazy good rock ‘n roll baby! all in rich high definition colors! i have to mention though, that the fernandez sisters are all gorgeous by default, only the groom’s good looks were enahced a little bit by the hd format! (i’m kidding dude!)
