thank you

Posted By bim in whatnot

we are suckers for thank you gifts. not that we want anything in return for doing our job, we are especially thankful already that we’re paid to do what we love doing. most times, a simple text message is more, much much more than enough. it’s just that sometimes, some couples give a little extra effort just to say thank you.

dennis and teri’s wedding was three months ago. less than a week afterwards, dennis was already setting an appointment with me to give me their token of appreciation. because of schedule conflicts, we just got their gift last friday. we love it! gen was so happy she was showing it to all the suppliers at the wedding congress. =)

as of the moment, we have the frame hanged on a special place in our office. to dennis and teri, thank you once again for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your special day and although you didn’t have to get us anything, really, it totally made our day! =)

ryan & carol: instant classic

july 9, 2009 – santuario de san antonio

blue leaf

perhaps the most difficult time was saying goodbye. not that tears were shed or anything, a firm handshake does the job most of the time except ryan, who’s just happy about anything, won’t let go of my hand for a good fifteen minutes…and like always before, it was another case of too-little-time-too-many-things-to-say.

another perfect day for a wedding. my good friend randall lent me his 24mm tilt/shift lens and man, amazing stuff that bad-ass lens do for video! enjoy the same day edit and holler if you like it!

jesse & denise: best vows ever

july 3, 2009 – antonio’s tagaytay

“…i will keep you cozy in the long canadian winters, solve our prolems before we go to sleep, explore the world with you, be a great dad, give you hugs and kisses all the time, spoon you in bed, and most importantly, to never stop loving you and to grow old…really old, with you. i love you baby, mahal kita.”

…and while i can’t promise to give you a perfect marriage, i will vow to be the best wife, friend and partner you will ever need.

the bride’s sisters were arranging fresh-from-the-market flowers delivered by the family driver to the venue. the bridesmaids were doing their own hair and make-up. even the bouquets, including the bride’s, were homemade. the cupcakes were baked by the groom’s mom. the couple were writing their vows on the day. the ceremony lasted for fifteen minutes including the marching of the whole entourage. from canada, without a wedding coordinator, how denise and jesse pulled this gorgeous wedding out is a mystery to me.

this video is long overdue. expect a blogging marathon this week. =)

what’s your dream, a successful marriage?

integrating the presider’s homily in their onsite video was not a part of the plan and honestly, it’s not my style…but the unexpected, in more times than not, makes it a little more interesting, adds something special…and, at the end of the day, even myself is surprised.

…and yeah, if you answered my question yes…wrong answer. =)

almost a year after the couple booked us at the 2008 wedding congress, we’re less than a month away from the 2009 wedding congress at the megatrade hall, megamall. this year, we’re giving away free projectors for all those couples who will be signing during the three day event to be held on july 24 – 26. also,, we will be adjusting the price of our hd package after the event. although this event is almost here, our 2009 calendar is almost closed and we will be accepting bookings for 2010/2011 weddings. we hope to see you at the only bridal convention in the philippines. =)
