my shooting style is mostly for fast-paced videos filled with crazy camera movements, intentional blurs and snap zooms. my talent, if you want to call it that, however, is not limited to quick cuts and special effects. come marwin and cathy’s onsite song. it is a reminder that i need to slow down a bit. =) it is a reminder that i am in the wedding business, where emotions are the most beautiful. here’s five minutes and fifteen seconds (somebody check, this might be a new record) of another beautiful wedding.

the thought of puy being a wedding photographer added a little more pressure doing the already difficult same day edit…but i admit, their song choice is one i am willing to edit any day of the week. =)

may 2, 2009 – our lady of lourdes

more than a year and a half ago, when we had no more than six onsite video samples, dennis sent me a text message telling me that he was at hou and joy’s wedding reception, saw our video and is very interested to book our services. :) time flew by and come their wedding day, we had almost a hundred sde experience. :) i just hope the couple thinks we’re worthy of the investment they made after they saw their onsite video. :)

inside marco’s room, the guys were playing r.e.m.’s losing my religion like a real pro (made me buy my own rockband set.) i remember the groom handing me the guitar and asking me if i wanted to play…hell yeah i did, but i didn’t because of two things: one, i don’t know how to play it and two, i had a wedding to shoot. :) one heck of a day it was. and as i much as i hate myself for passing on the chance, i regret missing leah play the lead guitar in her wedding gown. :) sweet!

1. they had one of the best vows i’ve ever heard.
2. they did not get a professional coordinator.
3. rnb ain’t my cup of tea.
4. this is the first time that i never met, talked, exchanged text messages/emails with a couple before the wedding.
