(the following blog post was written at about 2 a.m. christmas morning)
man this turned out to be the sweetest christmas! both my phones officially ran out of battery from all the messages i have received from friends. earlier today, i got myself a 50mm prime lens for the d90 and my very first chuck taylor shoes! i was so excited about the new shoes that i realized the last time i bought myself one was…never! i can’t believe it myself!

here’s the list of gifts i got (from dad, mom, gen, violy, my sisters, my brother in law, my niece and myself): the leather chucks, the 50mm prime lens, a lacoste perfume, a fossil watch, walking pants, a brown polo, a pair leather shoes from gen (my favorite), three calvin klein long sleeves, a pair of nike sneakers, a yellow t-shirt, three underwears, almost a kilogram of cheese balls, a fifty dollar bill, a starbucks planner, one our daily bread book? (what the heck!), chocolates, a bottle of wine (from janey and arvin), the cake and calendars from john and benz and a whole lot of love. =)

it was the perfect night until my grandfather was rushed to the e.r. because of breathing problems…everybody has to leave, but yeah, i know he’s gonna be alright. =) now, as i take the last sip from my second glass of wine and as the gloomy silent night song plays, i raise my glass to JC for another awesome birthday bash and to all you guys! here’s to a merry merry christmas! cheers!…if you’ll excuse me, i have a couple more avps to finish. =)

jamie was pumped up like she was gina carano before an mma fight. franco was cool as ice…but when everybody was gone and the opportunity came…when all has left but the two of them, they kissed like they just got married (pun intended.) man, that’s how you bring the house down! =) eheads fanatics (that includes me!), here’s a treat for you guys!!! enjoy! =)

monday morning traffic is too much to bear, lucky for me i was asleep the whole trip. i was busy the night before (maybe 2-3 a.m. in the morning) putting on the finishing touches to the couples 3d montage. =)

i got the colds a couple of days before dan & jen’s wedding and tagaytay’s weather wasn’t helping. =) this is not the kind of job where you can just give a medical certificate, fake or not, to be excused. in the end, it was another day well spent and another cool onsite video for the blog. enjoy! =)

december 7, 2008 – tagaytay highlands

it was a winter wonderland at tagaytay, and the wedding eleven years in the making turned out to be one momentous evening. =) that was one heck of a randy ortiz suit mark was wearing and i want one! abby’s joel escober wedding gown on the other hand was the most beautiful one i have seen. =) roughly five hours since de la hoya threw in the towel, everyone was still holding their breaths watching the couple dance for the first time. =)

i believe it was more than a year ago, we just upgraded our cameras to widescreen, i had the meeting with elpha. she was our very first client to get the widescreen package, and to my delight, i gave her a free projector!

it was busy day at san sebastian. we arrived ten passed three and our “magbanua-nalangan wedding” was to start at four. =) yep, bobby’s surname is one famous name in the wedding business and, as luck may have it, the “magbanua” himself was the one covering the first wedding. =) we had enough time to watch the recessional of one wedding and be a part of the whole ceremony of another wedding. haha!

the groom tried to hold back the tears but when the door opened, the beautiful moment was just too much to bear. the sight was not for the weak of heart and i am honored to capture it all on tape.

right after the onsite video was played, i was summoned to the couples table by the bride and groom to tell me how much they loved the video. man, that feeling i had, no words can describe. it’s the kind of stuff i signed up for.
