Awesomeness come in different packages. On one cloudy July afternoon, it was a six foot (or it seemed like it) gorgeous bride in her pink Zandra Lim gown, exchanging wedding vows in her thick Australia accent with her and dashing groom. A long long long engagement it was and I could only imagine the craziness that this couple endured during their wedding preparations. As a matter of fact, it was during our first trip to Melbourne back in January 2011 when my wife and I first met Chris & May. Even then, they’ve already booked us months in advance…yes, they’ve been preparing for their wedding that long.
Chris held on and fought back the tears during May’s walk down the aisle. Although he stuttered a little, he successfully delivered his wedding vow. It was while watching everything over again as the same day edit was being played on the big screen during the reception when I saw May wiping the tears from his eyes. Perhaps seeing everything unfold perfectly as planned has finally sunk in. And May, an avid follower of the videos that we post on our facebook page, will finally watch her own wedding film and show how epic her wedding day was to everyone. Congratulations Chris and May and we are truly grateful for the friendship that we were able to develop with you guys. You definitely are our one of our favorite couples from down under. Maybe before our Ozzie Visas expire, we can go back to Melbourne and rock out! See you around! =)
