an impromptu save the date short film//mauie & sam

on a rainy tuesday afternoon, in the middle of august, shooting this save the date video was very tricky. i needed to make on the spot adjustments that created a totally different skit from what was originally planned. as we were about to start to shoot, the rain poured down hard. so bad that i already instructed my wife and our prod assistant to pack everything up. i swear i was ready to leave. thirty minutes later, i was still standing in the middle of the grafitti covered walls proposing this crazy idea to my wife. i’m so glad we stayed!
if there’s a video that could perfectly define mauie and sam’s personalities, this is definitely it!
